Pharmaceutical Companies
As an attorney, I know that pharmaceutical companies have a lot of regulations; however, many seem to be able to promote, sponsor, and support many throughout the community.
I have contacted many to interview them or have them on our show for awareness and nothing more. They offer many essential and valuable services, medicines, and products that many people may benefit from if they may not be aware of.
So many throughout the Parkinson’s community have questions and I know I did throughout my mother’s battle with PD that are still unawareness today due to difficult in their availability.
Questions like:
What can you offer for PD patients?
How can medications slow the progression if at all?
What research is being done toward a cure today?
What medications did not work in the past?
And the list going on…. And on….
There are so many drugs out there and it can be difficult to navigate.
Sadly, in my experience doing this for five years, it seems either they aren’t aware of my passion for sharing awareness with the world, or they do not seem to care. I hope it is the first option, but I have sent emails, calls, and mailed letters without a reply. A few representatives I have met live or through social media have been excellent, but either they do not respond or state they cannot be on the show or promoted. That reminds me, though, of the numerous times I have seen them on other shows, websites, webinars, and podcasts for precisely what I had hoped also to share. As always, I want nothing in return but awareness, and until there is a cure, I want to share all the areas that could help so many through their work.
Whatever the reason, if someone is reading this, please reach out, and it would be a pleasure to advocate together. The world needs to know about pharmaceutical compliance and their missions, but we need to be a family in this fight for a Parkinson’s cure and get the word out to reach so many more who just may not be aware. Maybe this will bring some answers to so many questions……. to be continued…..
