Robyn Cotton. Author. I raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease through creative writing. My second book, ‘Mary & Me’, is a story about two women living with PD 200 years apart, and my third novel, ‘The Jibe’, has just been released and is a crime novel where one of the main characters is dealing with YOPD.

Barbara Marquardt. The Holistic Individual Parkinson Program, (HIPP) is a personalized Parkinson health and lifestyle coaching program, where I’ll work alongside you in partnership in developing an individualized plan to achieve greater wellness with Parkinson’s.

Kendall McDonald. Art Therapy. There is a variety of pencil sketches, paintings in acrylic, watercolor, charcoal and pen art. All proceeds are donated to Parkinson’s research and charities – Promoting awareness and finding a cure.

One Stop Dementia aims to give people a place to start when their loved ones begin to show signs of dementia. Florida Atlantic University, Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. Marcus Institute of Integrative Health offers several free health and wellness programs and events that encourage patients and community members to participate in fitness and self-care activities that engage both active individuals and those who experience chronic pain.

Charco Neurotech, founded by Lucy Jung – CUE1, a non-invasive wearable device for Parkinson’s, utilizes pulsed cueing and focused vibrotactile stimulation to reduce symptoms of slowness and stiffness resulting in improved movement. Developed by a team of engineers, doctors and neuroscientists, CUE1 offers a novel, non-invasive approach to increasing quality of life for people with Parkinson’s. Using removable medical adhesive to rest on the sternum, CUE1 can provide an immediate aid, activated by the simple push of a button. Pilot tests have resulted in an average improvement of 16% in movement tasks such as using tools, manipulating objects, walking and more. Most importantly participants felt their movement was smoother and better controlled.
